I. Equipment Overview:
This equipment is used to determine whether cables and optical
cables can continuously operate in the specified state when burning
under the specified fire source and time

Ii. Compliance with Standards
This testing machine complies with GB/T19216.11-2003/
EC60331-11:1999 "Test for Line Integrity of cables and optical
cables under Flame Conditions - Part 11: The test apparatus - a
separate fire supply with a flame temperature not lower than 750℃
is designed and fully complies with GB/T19216.21-2003/1

shall replace GB/T12666.6-1990 "Test Methods for Burning of wires
and Cables - Part 6: Test methods for fire resistance
characteristics of wires and cables" as of the date of
implementation. Iii. Equipment Features
1. It adopts imported rotameters, blowtorches and Venturi mixers,
ensuring precise flow control, stable and uniform flames, and
consistent temperature

2. Imported thermometers and thermocouples, with a temperature
measurement error of no more than 1%.
3. The equipment is equipped with leakage, overcurrent and
overvoltage protection devices. In case of a fault, it will
automatically cut off the high-voltage source to ensure the safety
of the equipment and operation

ensure that the shape of the flame is not affected by the airflow.

Iv. Equipment Composition
1. Design of the combustion chamber (see Figure 1
The entire cubic combustion chamber is formed by fixing
double-layer SUS304 stainless steel materials on the stainless
steel square tube bracket. The space between the inner and outer
partitions of the combustion chamber is filled with insulation
cotton. The dimensions of the combustion chamber are 3Mx3Mx3M,
totaling 27 cubic meters.
2. Sample support: The sample is supported by two or three metal
rings with an inner diameter of approximately 150mm, as shown in
Figure 2
V. Main Technical Parameters
(1) Combustion device:
1. Blowtorch: It is a propane gas blowtorch with a nozzle nominal
length of 500mm and a width of 15mm, equipped with a Venturi mixer.
The nozzle has three rows of staggered drill holes with a nominal
diameter of 1.32mm and a center distance of 3.2mm. See Figure 3;
2. Flowmeters: Rotameter (Air) : 100L/min, rotameter (propane) :
10L/min;
3. Gas pressure gauges: Air 0-0.6MPa, gas 0-0.25MPa;
4. Components of the blowtorch control system: pressure regulating
valve, piezoelectric igniter, flameout device, thermometer, K-type
thermocouple, gas source (provided by the customer), regulating
valve, ignition device, gas pipeline, flowmeter, Venturi mixer,
blowtorch, ball valve, air pipeline, compressed air (provided by
the customer).
5. Timer: 0 to 99.99s/m/h can be set arbitrarily;
6. Ignition device: Automatic piezoelectric ignition;
7. Temperature controller: It has two K-type thermocouple
measurement inputs, with a temperature range of 0 to 1200℃ that can
be set arbitrarily.
(2) Line Load control Section: (As shown in Figure 4
Test transformer: One 8KVA capacity, three-phase 1000V output AC
transformer;
Voltage regulator: Capacity 8KVA, input 380V, output adjustable
from 0 to 400V;
Test voltage: Continuously adjustable from 100 to AC1000V;
Voltage and current display: Voltmeter display range: 0-2000V,
ammeter display range: 0-5A.
Test current: Maximum 3A;

(3) Exhaust gas treatment device: The exhaust gas treatment adopts
