Application:

ULPK0006 is the electric priming lift pump that feeds Perkins 1004-4, 1004-4T and 1006-6 engines (4.0 L and 6.0 L, 4- and 6-cylinder) installed in Massey Ferguson 6400-, 7400- and 8200-series tractors, Landini Legend and Rex 5 orchard tractors, JCB 4CX and 5CX backhoe loaders, Manitou MLT 735 telehandlers, plus FG Wilson P22-6 and Pramac GSW100P enclosed generator sets. It bolts to the cylinder-block rear left and delivers fuel to the high-pressure injection pump at engine speeds from idle to rated 2 200 r/min.

Technical specifications:

The pump is a 12 V DC, positive-displacement gear type with integral check valves and 6 mm quick-connect inlet/outlet ports. Rated flow is 160 L/h at 300 kPa and 13 V; current draw is 6 A at 2 000 r/min. The cast-aluminium body is SAE J744 size 2, two M8 threaded holes on 50 mm centres, and includes an internal bypass calibrated at 400 kPa to protect downstream components. All elastomers are FKM (Viton) for biodiesel compatibility up to B20 and for operation down to −40 °C.

Material & performance features:

The die-cast aluminium housing is powder-coated for salt-spray resistance; the precision-ground steel gears run in a bronze bearing sleeve for quiet, long-life operation and minimal wear. A neodymium magnetic strainer cap captures ferrous debris down to 40 µm, while stainless-steel spring-loaded valves prevent back-flow and vapour lock. The encapsulated DC motor is IP67-sealed against dust and moisture, and a built-in thermal cut-off resets automatically at 120 °C. With low noise signature, vibration-free running and maintenance-free sealed bearings, the unit is ideal for continuous-duty agricultural, construction and generator applications.
