Application:

The 131017591 inline high-pressure injection pump is calibrated for the mechanical-injection Perkins 1104D-44T and 1104C-44T turbo-diesel engines (4.4 L, 4-cylinder) that power Massey Ferguson 6700 Global Series tractors, Landini Powerfarm 110/120/130 T-V models, JCB 437 wheeled loaders and 540-140 Hi-Viz telehandlers, plus FG Wilson P33-6 and Pramac GSW120P enclosed generator sets. These engines deliver 90–120 kW at 2 200 r/min while meeting EU Stage IIIA / EPA Tier 3 emission bands, so the pump supplies precise fueling for high-torque rise, fast transient response and dependable cold-start performance across heavy-duty agricultural, construction and standby-power applications.


Technical specifications:

The pump body is a forged-steel, one-piece inline housing with integral camshaft bore Ø45 mm and side-mounted mechanical governor, flange-mounted to SAE J744 size 3 with four M12 threaded holes on 152 mm PCD. Plunger diameter is 12.5 mm with 12 mm stroke, generating peak injection pressures up to 1 800 bar. An integrated duplex feed pump supplies 220 L/h at 600 kPa; the centrifugal automatic advance mechanism provides 10° crankshaft advance from 800 to 2 400 r/min. Drive hub accepts 15 mm Woodruff key and is dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 Grade G2.5. Static timing is 10° BTDC ± 1° with ± 3° fine adjustment via vernier coupling. All gaskets and O-rings are FKM (Viton) compound for compatibility with biodiesel blends up to B20 and ultra-low-sulphur winter diesel down to −45 °C.


Material & performance features:

Each plunger and barrel assembly is machined from vacuum-remelted 18CrNiMo7-6 alloy steel, carburised to 1.2 mm effective case depth and super-finished to 0.10 µm Ra for minimal leakage and outstanding durability under cyclic 1 800 bar loading. Camshaft lobes are induction-hardened to 63–67 HRC, while roller tappets receive a tungsten-carbide PVD coating that reduces boundary friction by 40 % and extends fatigue life. A lightweight aluminium governor flyweight carrier with bronze bushings and PTFE-impregnated thrust faces ensures stable idle speed and load response within 1 % of set point. High-pressure steel galleries are laser-welded and cold-rolled to eliminate micro-cracks, and the mechanical overspeed fuel shut-off is housed in a glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide cover rated IP67 for dust and moisture protection. An integral viscous torsional vibration damper limits peak twist to <0.08°, protecting both pump and engine gear-train from resonance wear and noise.
